Welcome all to the very first posting of Irate Living. We here (so far just me) believe that there are certain things that should be shared with the world and many many things that no one gives a fuck about. With that said, the purpose of this blog-mag, is to post tips, tricks, loves, and rants about daily living. Think Martha Stewart doing speedballs and driving down the road at 90 mph in a stolen semi.
Todays virginal post is on a topic near and dear to me, the oversharing friend. Now we all know and love one of these people. We also want to tell them to "shut the fuck up about [insert annoyance here]!!!" A good example of the OF is the one who posts on facebook just about every hour on the hour. Honestly, if I liked anyone that much to care what they were doing that much, I would ask. Let's be honest, no one likes anyone that much, and if they do, there are some serious, get-your-ass-to-therapy type things going on. Another example is the friend who has designed a blog to compliment their facebook posts, i.e., "today I made peppermint fudge and had two bowel movements, read more about it on my blog at theinternethasdestroyedmyboundaries.blogspot.com :)" which by the way was the second choice for the title of Irate Living.
Is there anything to be done about these OFs? This is the question I pose to my loyal new readers. I cannot say I have the answers at this time. I'm too busy trying to find an angry midget who will knock on OF's doors and scream "Your choice in movies/bands/products suck" repeatedly until they are either hoarse from yelling or the OF in question cries and repents.
